Santa Claus's reindeer

How many reindeer has Santa Claus got?

In traditional lore, Santa Claus's sleigh is led by eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder (variously spelled Donder and Donner), and Blixem (variously spelled Blixen and Blitzen), with Rudolph being a 20th-century inclusion.

The names Dunder and Blixem derive from Dutch words for thunder and lightning, respectively.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer

And Prancer and Vixen

Comet and Cupid

And Donner and Blitzen

But do you recall

The most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose

And if you ever saw it

You would even say it glows

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas Eve

Santa came to say

"Rudolph with your nose so bright

Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then how the reindeer loved him

And they shouted out with glee

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You'll go down in history!"

Writing a Christmas Card

It's that time of the year when we wish our family and friends a Merry Christmas.
Here you can find some examples of Christmas messages to write your own Christmas card.

You can begin your card like this:

"Dear mum"

"Dear dad"

"Dear parents"

"Dear brother"

"Dear sister"

"Dear grandparents"

"Dear family"

"Dear friend"

...

You need to write a Christmas message,
so you can choose any of these :

"I wish you a Merry Christmas"

"I wish you a Christmas full of love!"

"Merry Christmas!. With many good wishes for Christmas
 and the coming year"

"I hope your wishes make true this Christmas"

"I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

"Hope, Peace and Love for you this Christmas"

"May the peace and joy of Christmas live in your heart in the New Year"

"Merry Christmas"

"I hope you have a great Christmas"

"My best wishes for you and your family. Merry Christmas"

"With all Good Wishes
for Christmas and the New Year.
Joy & Peace"

"A wish for peace and happiness
at Christmas and throughout the New Year."

"Peace, good will and happiness
for you at Christmas and always."

"May the Christmas season
fill your home with joy,
your heart with love
and your life with laughter."

"Merry Christmas and Best Wishes
for a Happy New Year

Christmas Greetings!
With many good wishes
for Christmas and the coming year.

Love, joy and peace."

"Peace On Earth
and best wishes
throughout the New Year"

"Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year"

"Faith makes all things possible,
Hope makes all things work,
Love makes all things beautiful,
May you have all the three for this Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

"A silent night, a star above, a blessed gift of hope and love.
A blessed Christmas to you!"

"Peace on Earth!

Making Spirits Bright

Glad Tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

"Wishing you all the joy, hope and wonder of Christmas!"

"May the magic of Christmas gladden your heart with the joys of the season.

May the spirit of Christmas bless you with greater strength.

May the promise of Christmas bring you and yours endless blessings."

When finishing, don't forget to say:

Love ...

With love from ...

Goodbye ...
